Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades Upgrades can increase the performance of a piece of equipment and at times even add additional features. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random enhancements used. For example, the elite racial shield Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb ability in PvP or to provide additional defenses on missile based designs in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable over the unupgraded version. Reroll Tokens Reroll tokens permit you to reroll a purchased item, such as armor, weapon, or ring. The item is replaced by an identical item and comes with different bonuses. Reroll tokens can be an efficient method of upgrading equipment. They don't maintain the original item's level, and any resources wasted aren't rewarded. The survivors can get tokens to reroll in many ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. You can also find them in crates and chests or buy them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of a piece of equipment for example, increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat. Players can roll equipment with three categories: physical power, spell power and health. Upgrades to physical power increase the damage of melee and weapons attack while upgrades to spell power boost mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player an additional amount of health. Three types of reroll tokens are available in three categories: upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each of these upgrades an item to a higher quality, with the requirement of an upgraded reroll token in order to produce it. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, rare upgrades require a unique or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items. The marker that rerolls, unlike markers or tokens placed on action spaces stays on the spot until the next success is to be rerolled. This allows you to not waste upgrades. Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Phase and can be opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they will display an explanation and icon for the appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of coins. During the course of a game, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to the choice of Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop offers to reroll, and also those that are in the Non-droppable Pool. Growthstones Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones which increase the level of an item by increasing its stats or attributes. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. They can also be purchased by players who complete daily contracts. To upgrade equipment to upgrade gear, players must first locate the item and then click the “level up button”. The menu will appear showing the item's current level and what it will be after being leveled up as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to do so. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Typically item upgrader (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires a single green or blue Growth Stone. Once they have decided on the upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. Once the player has met the requirements, they can hit the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level a certain percentage. Based on the rarity of the item, the upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to minutes. The upgrade process is risk-free and will not affect the item's longevity. This makes it an ideal way for players to gain an advantage in combat without straining their bank account. By clicking on the “transfer tab”, players can also transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item onto a new piece of gear. New players may find it difficult to obtain Growth Stones. There are a variety of ways to obtain them, including signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones. Leveling Leveling is a feature that allows you to increase the stats of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials, and then pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade components will be used up and the item will be upgraded to an upgrade to a higher level. This process can continue until the item reaches its maximum level. Items with upgraded stats will have a blue icon beside their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components don't stack with each other, but can only be added to a single item at one time. Furthermore, each upgrade component will require a certain number of items to be used, as well as an initial amount for the equipment. The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can choose to add an item to be upgraded. On the right side, a preview shows what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow after the player has enough materials will begin the upgrade process. A piece of gear can be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded the base stats of an item will be increased by an amount of. The maximum level of an item is 19. When an item is at its maximum capacity, it will no longer have the option to upgrade. When a piece of equipment attains a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades to that track will have a discount. Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that is able to be inserted into armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets to give an additional effect or bonus while the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be changed by acquiring new ones. However, this could destroy the old upgrade. Requirements Item upgrades give players the ability to increase certain stats of weapons and armor they currently own. The requirements to upgrade an item differ based on the item type but generally, you'll need Dilithium as well as a few Upgrade Tokens (various options available). Items can be upgraded by adding item upgrade components to weapons and equipment. These will provide extra effects or an increased level of the item. These upgrades can come from many sources, including crafting, buying at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component has been placed into an object, it cannot be removed or replaced. However the glyphs can be swapped freely. Upgrades to an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that could further improve the item's stats. The upgrade to the helm “Foundation of the Sun” for example, increases base defense and adds an additional 20 percent chance to block. The DPS “Wildfire”, however increases damage to weapons. Some items benefit from being upgraded less because of their improved stats, but for the fact that it allows players to gain the maximum amount of value from a perfect roll on the item. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for instance is highly sought-after by the melee PvP communities and can be worth 20-50 times the value of an unupp'd counterpart. When you select an upgrade component that you want to put into an item the game will show an in-game window that lists the requirements required for that item. The game will show the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item. If you've fulfilled the conditions for upgrading the game will put the item in your inventory and the progress bar will change to show how close you are to completing it. You can also track the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
